Upgrading our Blue Tongue Skink's Bioactive enclosure - Lt Dan gets a huge living palace with Mariah

Welcome back to the Bio Dude's YouTube channel. Many of you must remember our 3 legged Blue Tongue. Lt. Dan was living in a 4' x 2' x 2', but we felt at the Bio Dude this 3 legged monster needed more space. He is always moving, burrowing and using every inch of his enclosure. So, we have decided to go with this beautiful 60' x 24' x 24' Bio Dude KAGES enclosure. We just LOVE how this turned out and how beautiful this KAGE is. Mariah and I go over how we are expecting the heating to function for proper microclimates while keeping the soil at the optimum moisture levels for optimal performance. We also discuss his diet, activity and other aspects of his care and overall habitat maintenance.

With a hearty mixture of existing substrate with new, we were able to transfer lots of existing pieces from his old terrarium to jumpstart his new habitat. Here is a list of components used to complete this build:
