Padova, Italy - A Walk to and through the Markets

This walk begins at Piazza Garibaldi and strolls past Pedrocchi Cafe, the University of Padua, and then does a row-by-row and hallway-by-hallway tour of the markets on either side and within the Piazza Ragione. It is startling to see the scale of this, one of the largest markets in Italy. It is doubly striking to realize that this has been set up and taken down daily for a full 800 years!
