Weather effects in F76 are similar to it's older sibling - Fallout 4. Thought the intensity of the rainfall or wind is quite reduced compared to the mentioned title. The rain appears randomly throughout the map - using a fully dynamic weather system. What is new in Fallout 76 is the ability to see the rain clouds during gameplay - hovering above the world map.
