Dapu Khan was the voice of the majestic Jaisalmer Fort. He was the only singer who sang from within the bustling fort premises for the last 25 years and yet, he remains as enigmatic as the desert myths and tales. He was one of the very few exponents of the Kamaicha, which is often termed as one of the oldest bowed instruments in the world.

The beautiful composition 'Moomal' sketches the unrivaled beauty of Princess Moomal of Lodurva. Moomal and Prince Mahendra of Amarkot are predestined to be together. The writer taunts the Prince to let down his haughtiness because his charms are nothing in front of the divine beauty of Princess Moomal.

The forehead of Moomal is beautifully carved like a coconut. Her raven black hair shines like the glossy skin of a snake. The writer asks alluring Moomal if she wishes to visit Amarkot.

Her innocent-appearing doe-like eyes capture its beholder as someone caught in the never-ending thirst of wine. Her sharp nose resembles the beak of a parrot.

Her pink luscious lips are like soft velvet and her teeth are beautifully sculpted like the seeds of a pomegranate.

Listen to this mesmerizing composition in the captivating voice of Dapu Khan Ji and adore the fascinating Princess Moomal of Lodurva!
