Raagistaan Desert Diaries is a 6 episode folk music series by Red FM, where the host RJ Sudeepta travels through the heart of Rajasthan to meet 6 internationally renowned folk artists from India.

The 6th and the last episode of the series is a posthumous tribute to the late folk legend Dapu Khan Merasi, who departed from this mortal world on 13th March 2021. Also known as the voice of Jaisalmer fort, he was one of the few remaining exponents of the mythical instrument Kamaicha and has left us a rich and glorious repertoire of his timeless folk tunes! The notes of his Kamaicha and all the stories he told us during this shoot in his village Bhadli will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

Rajasthan and its soil will forever miss this great Folk legend!
