2 FEMALE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED IN WOKHA TOWN TSUMANG COLONY

Two women were caught peddling drugs at Wokha Town Tsumang Colony on 16 July following which the colony youth organization of Tsumang ‘A’ and ‘B’ organized a procession on July 17 whereby they chopped off the peddlers hair and then handed over to police. In a short interaction with the Tsumang ‘A’ and ‘B’ Youth Organization, they expressed that they were reluctant to take such action but were compelled as the two frequent offenders had used their immunity, and they were even handed over to police and given multiple penalties on several occasions. The Tsumang Youth Organization expressed that the decision of cutting the hair of the two ladies who were caught peddling drugs suspected to be brown sugar, was not an instant action but the colony youths were determined to take an extreme step since the duo were repeated offenders
