Surrendered - Ep. 2 "Nancy's Story of Loss"

During 1945 to 1975, known as the Baby Scoop Era, it is estimated that over 2 million women in the US were coerced into surrendering their babies to adoption. After decades of remaining silent about what happened to them, some are finally coming forward to share their harrowing stories.

Nancy, a mother of loss, is among the women who felt called to step into the light with their truths.

For years and years Nancy lived alone in her silence, unable to properly grieve and process what had transpired when she was 19 and lost her baby to adoption. As she began to awaken to the lies she had been told, that she had believed as truths, she finally could see what had happened to her and it helped her break the silence.

I am so grateful that Nancy entrusted me to share her story so that I could share it with the world.
