Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive Upright Vacuum

Here I'm showing is a long overdue request. I got this vacuum 7 years ago for $5 from the local thrift store. Came with everything including the extension hose. Only just cleaned it up a little and put a new bag on but it works great now. Been after one of these for quite a while. This was one of the last first generation Kenmore Progressive uprights they've sold before the Intelliclean models came out and this is my favorite one cause I really like the red color. Red used to be my favorite color until I started liking green more but I still love red on vacuums. One of these days I'd like to add the blue version to match with this, that one had an electric hose and Powermate Jr which I do prefer over this. Overall, it's a neat machine for what it is despite that I'm not a fan of Direct Drive vacuums. I love Direct Drives on washers like my Kenmore 90 Series top loader and my parents' LG front loader but I find that belts work alot better on vacuums. Even on this rug that I tried to demo on, I gotta find a better rug to test my vacuums because most of my future videos will be filmed here for now on. I'm just at a point where I don't have alot of time anymore to bring machines over to my place, service them, and do videos over there. But anyways, you'll notice that it was just so awkward to use and it actually chewed on this rug. Never happened with my SEBO Essential G1 that I used earlier to clean this rug before the video, Sears should've kept having SEBO make vacuums for Kenmore cause those belts never break. Still though, this is a good vacuum I think but not the best from Consumer Reports in my opinion.
