Hoover Concept One Upright Vacuum

Описание к видео Hoover Concept One Upright Vacuum

Here I'm showing is my other Concept One that I have at least for now. I picked this up last year from the thrift store for about $10. This was the condition that it was in when I found it. Only thing I did to this was changing the bag and the main belt out. As you can see it needs some work done and I'm not sure when or if it'd ever be serviced so I thought I'd show this off for now, besides I could always do another video of this some other time with it all completely detailed. One of the bulbs is out, the spring for the outer bag is worn, needs to get cleaned up, and gotta figure out what's wrong with the cord rewinder. It was working earlier but now it wouldn't lock into place anymore. Other than that, it still runs good! I was downsizing the collection a bit so I thought I'd bring this down to my aunt's and add it in my closet where all my other Concepts are at. I think this is my all time favorite Concept One. I just love the colors, such a cool looking combo especially for a vintage Hoover vacuum. I also really do love the cord rewinder feature, but it can be an extra thing to break just like on this machine. I don't think I've taked about this before but probably my biggest criticism of these Concepts is that I wish they had more than just three settings on the height adjuster. I've noticed that on the shag setting it has a harder time reaching down into these fibers but if I set it on the plush setting, it's just too low to push and pull. Perhaps maybe it's because that the brushes as just so worn but either way, I'm not a fan of thick shag carpets. I prefer low pile carpeting for my taste like back at my aunt's old house for example. Overall, I love this like all my other Concepts. In my opinion one of the last good Hoovers before the Elites came out and when Maytag took over. I believe that was when Hoover started to go downhill. One of these days I'd love to find another version of this that doesn't have the power drive mechanism.

Hope you enjoyed!
