La chorba frik est une soupe algérienne composée de blé vert concassé, très appréciée pendant le mois de ramadan et aussi présente sur les tables de fête.
Avec ou sans légumes, épicée ou non, parfumée à souhait, on en raffole!
J’ai choisi de réaliser une soupe aux légumes pour une soupe vraiment complète: des légumes, des féculents( le frik est excellent pour le transit intestinal ) et des protéines.
Cette entrée chaude s’accompagne de galette Kesra ou de pain semoule matlou3r .

Ingrédients:
200g de viande coupée en dés ou autre
200g de pois chiches
400g de tomates concassées ou
4 tomates et 1CS de tomate concentrée
1 oignon
2 gousses d’ail
1/2 courgette ( facultatif )
1/2 carotte ( facultatif )
1 petite pomme de terre ( facultatif )
Boulettes de viande assaisonnées
20g d’huile
1 cuillère à café de coriandre ou ras el hanout
1 cuillère à café de piment doux ou paprika
1 cuillère à café de sel
1/4 cuillère à café de poivre
1/2 cc de piment fort ( facultatif )
1 piment ( facultatif )
1/2 bouquet de coriandre
60g de blé concassé ( frik ) rincé
1 cuillère à soupe de menthe séchée ou quelques feuille de menthe fraîche
Eau chaude

Variantes: remplacer le concassé de tomates par 4 tomates et 1CS de concentré de tomate, ou du coulis de tomate

Conseils: les pois-chiches trempés la veille sont à cuire au préalable dans de l’eau bouillante car 40min dans le thermomix ne suffiront pas pour la cuisson.
Sinon ajouter les pois chiches en boîte à la dernière cuisson.
