1400HP Street Driven HZ Holden Premier

Last week I met up with Dave Tierney at Roll Racing at The Bend Motorsport Park. Dave is the owner of a street driven 400ci twin turbo HZ Premier pushing out over 1400 horsepower at the wheels. The car has a Dart block, forged SCAT crank, AFR heads, custom hydraulic roller camshaft, Plazmaman throttle-body and intercooler, Pulsar G42 turbos, Powerglide with transbrake built by MV Automatics, 9 inch diff with 3.5 gears and running Haltech Nexus VCU and IC7 dash. Dave put the car together himself in his shed with some machining done by TW Engineering and tuning from Boost Worx.

The car has run a best of 8.2 seconds at 170mph over the quarter mile and Dave hopes to run into the 7’s with his current set up next time he takes it out to a drag strip. Check out what he had to say and some of the action from Roll Racing where he took out the event for the second time in a row!
