SLCC Nursing Promo

The SLCC Nursing Program offers students a comprehensive, affordable, high quality education taught by expert health care providers with advanced degrees. Access to state-of-the-art equipment and hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings will teach you the science of healing and the art of compassion. Our experienced, knowledgeable faculty and staff are excited to share their expertise with you and prepare you to succeed in the diverse, dynamic field of nursing.

Our program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing, which will enable you to apply for and take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), which is needed to become a Registered Nurse (RN). We also offer an Advanced Placement Program for License Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) returning for an AAS degree.

Our Healing Arts Lab provides opportunities to practice patient care safely, using proper equipment without fear of real life consequences. This unique, state-of-the-art center specializes in interactive learning through the use of life-like scenarios, computerized mannequins, and hands-on, practical learning to simulate hospital, clinical, and long-term care settings.
