Milking Sheep by Hand in Transylvania

Romanian shepherds hand milked sheep at traditional sheepfold from Făgăraș Mountains in Transylvania. This breed is called Țurcana sheep, a Vallachian sheep breed well adapted to the Carpathian mountains cold climate used since ancient times.
