Adams A4 Showdown! Shepherd's Crook Bell A4 vs Standard Bell A4 Comparison at Austin Custom Brass

Описание к видео Adams A4 Showdown! Shepherd's Crook Bell A4 vs Standard Bell A4 Comparison at Austin Custom Brass

These two Adams trumpets are some of the best loved horns we sell at the shop. Both are great options for jazz players looking for a sound with a lot of character. There are a couple key differences between the two that go beyond just the bell design. On the shepherd's crook model there's no brace from the 2nd valve to bell, and the front brace has been adjusted as well; it feels more resonant in the hand and feels more free blowing to play, and the slotting feels a little looser. The standard bell A4 has a more stable feeling and a tighter feel to the slots. Which design is better? It will depend on your personal taste and playing needs.

You can customize either version on our web store, and please contact us if you'd like to discuss the options:
