How to add section/heading before Table of Contents into Table of Contents [2022]

You may have sections/headings like Abstract, Declaration, Acknowledgement etc. prior to your Table of Contents. This video shows how to include these headings, which are prior to Table of Content to your Table of Content (#TOC).

Trick here is Apply a different (or user defined) heading style to the text that you want to include in TOC.
Then Go to Reference Tab and Click Add Index and select Level 1.
To get it in TOC, click update table and select Update Entire Table
