Throughout my years as a behavior analyst, I’ve had parents ask questions like “do antidepressants help autism?”, “what drugs are used to treat autism?”, and “are there any drugs and medications for autism symptoms?”. In today’s video I’d like to answer all those questions and share with you my story about my son Lucas who also has autism and what medications for autism we gave him. This video is not aimed to provide you medical advice, but merely my experiences and some tips for medication with autism. Supplements for autism aren’t necessary for all children, and before implementing autism medication into your child’s daily routine, always make sure to consult your doctor first.
