Our journey began in Thal town, nestled in the heart of Pithoragarh. From there, we made our way towards the enchanting Bageshwar District. On our way, we witnessed and captured a massive landslide near Nachani Town—a reminder of nature's raw power. Determined to continue, we pressed on towards our destination.

🔹 Exploring Vaichham Village
We arrived at the picturesque Vaichham village, located in the serene Danpur region of Bageshwar District, and stayed the night. This quaint village, set in the stunning Saryu Valley, provided us with a tranquil retreat and a glimpse into the simple yet rich lifestyle of the locals.

🔹 About Saryu River
The Saryu River, revered as a holy river, originates from Saudhara and flows through Bharadi, Kapkot, Bageshwar, and Seraghat before merging with the Mahakali River at Pancheshwar. Its pristine waters and serene landscapes are a sight to behold.

🔹 Gearing Up for the Trek
In this episode, we also prepare for our upcoming trek to the high-altitude meadows. The following episodes will showcase the arduous yet rewarding journey of living with the Himalayan shepherds and experiencing their way of life.
