Triumph TR250 Restoration

We didn't get a lot accomplished today. We found that we had not painted the convertible top yet, so we needed to make a supply run to get some paint. We thought we had some left-over silver, but we didn't, so we needed some silver for the stripe too. While at the automotive paint supply store we asked if they could make Mercedes silver in a single stage, but they said they couldn't. He handed me a strip of silver paint chips and said pick one. There were about a dozen silver chips and quite honestly, they all were very similar. The top one was a bit brighter, and the bottom was less so. I chose the bottom one but like I said, to me they were nearly identical.

When we got back, I scuffed the convertible top with gray scotch bright in preparation to be sprayed tomorrow. I have mentioned that I think the tan interior will go splendidly with the green we painted the car, so I got a piece of the interior and placed it by the fender and I still stand by my opinion that it looks great together.
