It's an overdrive, it's a cab sim, it's a preamp that loves your amp's clean channel but will get on well with with a dirt channel too. The Getaway Driver features an internal charge pump that bangs up the voltage to 18V meaning it has plenty of headroom. You can run the Getaway Driver at 9 or 12V, the latter giving you slightly more headroom, something akin to the difference between an EL84 (9V) and an EL34(12V). The cab sim is based on a G12MH30 Celestion as found in many Orange cabs. It works a treat and I hope my little flirtation with it at the end of the video demonstrates this.

The Getaway Drive is a box full of cool tricks with a deceivingly simple interface. You won't find it hard to use and it will likely earn a place on your board once you've given it a shot. Tone is the bottom line and Orange are not known to disappoint. They certainly don't here.
