The Orange Kongpressor is one smooth ride, baby! It's an optical compressor that has the sweetest bloom I think I've ever come across. You can tailor transients with the Attack and Release knobs, up the level by some 12dB and dial in a little more 'chime' with the Chime control. The Kongpressor will take 9-12VDC and turn it into 18V inside (more headroom, thank you) and the Kongpressor will make you beat your chest in triumph like a giant ape, such are its excellent tones! I have tried a LOT of compressors in my tenure on ye olde Youtube; the Orange Kongpressor definitely makes the top of the list. I love it.
