Pin Curl and Roller Pin up Hair Styling Tutorial

This is the Pin curl Pin up style of your dreams! I followed a 1940s pin curl setting pattern and comb out to create this look. I have added the diagrams and description form my 1940s hair book to this video at the end (I own it but have no affiliation with the publishers) Also a picture of LucilleBall with an extremely similar hair do! Love to emulate that firecracker of a woman!

Due to having very long and thick hair, I could not achieve the look on the back of the head for this style so I modified it to a low curl poof style. I added a hair net since my hair didn’t dry completely 😭 It happens to us all! But the gait net does keep the curls nice and organized!

Also note, at the beginning of the video I am wearing the silk sleep cap I wear to protect my curls and rollers at night!
