Lincoln City, Oregon | Devil's Lake State Campground

Lincoln City is located on the scenic Oregon Coast. Bordered by 680-acre Devils Lake and the Coast Range on the east, and the Pacific Ocean on the west. Lincoln City boasts 7½ miles of beautiful, clean sandy beaches. They host a huge annual Kite Festival and hide Finders Keepers glass floats on the beach throughout the year.

We stayed at Devil’s Lake State Park, and enjoyed walking around the lake and city. Devils Lake turns into the D River which was in a hotly contested battle for the shortest river in America. If you do some exploring, you can walk under Highway 101 and visit the D River Day Use beach area.

Devil’s Lake State Park is the only Oregon State Park located right in a city. Lincoln city has over 7 miles of soft, clean sandy beaches. There’s also an Outlet Mall, and lots of fun tourist and specialty shops. We enjoyed visiting the new Pelican Pub (now called Pelican Brewery) just 4 miles south of our campground.
