How long does it take to apply lime cement plaster on a wall?
Depends on your skill level, but it is much faster than taping mud.
Also, finishing sheetrock walls with lime cement plasters is much stronger than taping mud.

I have demonstrated how to apply a single coat of lime plaster in past videos a few times. TIP, if you can apply taping mud, you can apply Lime plaster.

Folks, if you can't find these lime basecoats and finish coats, you can always google "plastering yards near me," I have often heard that at HD, they say online they sell it, but when folks arrive, they don't.

This lime cement plaster video application aims to inform those who wish to know that it's usually applied correctly in two applications.
Whether in schools, hospitals, or many homes, it is to prove a point.
First, the lime basecoat is applied, which has sand for strength. Then, when this basecoat is set, it is usually about an hour.
A lime finish coat with no sand, just crushed limestone, can be troweled on and as smooth as glass if one wishes.
However, more importantly, now that the finished lime plaster has a foundation of the lime plaster base coat, it's less unlikely to separate from the sheetrock or wallboard and/or spider check or crack.
Plus, it will be as strong as the strict hospital and school codes intended and equally important with both coats.

One can apply veneer plaster over any skin on the sheetrock or drywall. But first, you need a bonding agent rolled over the board or painted onto that board. Quikrete sells for about ten bucks at Home Depot.
