THE SMILER - Alton Towers (Updated POV)

This is the final final version of my No Limits recreation of THE SMILER, due to open at Alton Towers on 23rd May 2013. The ride has changed from the plans released in January 2012 to include more inversions, and these have been added to the recreation. I give credit again to JAMMYD778 who created the HD videos for the original videos you may have seen, and you can find more of his own recreations and videos at    / jammyd778  . Unfortunately, this is only an SD video which has maxed out my laptop in making. But since the ride will be completed in only a couple of months, there doesn't seem much point in a full HD movie for this.

Since the trains are known to be different, there are no panoramic shots this time, and only the POV. If you want to see more images of the recreation you can find them at http://www.towersstreet.com/the-smiler/

The indoor heartline-roll and area around the batwing and cobra-roll elements are not 'accurate' depictions of what the finish ride will look like, due to difficulty in changing the recreation, but give an interpretation of what the ride will be like. I imagine there will be some effects on the indoor portion of the ride, and this is demonstrated by the (crude, I know) video effects.

Please do not ask for copies of the file, I will try and make it available once a 'real' POV is released (which will be in about a month or so), this to protect the hours of work I spent making this and to guard against similar videos.

Finally I have added some atmospheric music, I must credit this as Gathering Darkness by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) and title music is Children's Theme also by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com).
