Floyd H. Willis (1885-1959) was a pianist, piano tuner and salesman from Covington, Kentucky who was also known to have performed on a steamboat which plied the Ohio River from Cincinnati to an amusement park. He wrote five rags and was a competent ragtime composer. This rag is one of his more charming and laid-back compositions, and is rare and hard-to-find. It was published by W.H. Willis & Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1910.
