Hi Guys this is a recipe is of an old fashion bakery bread pudding, in this video I show you how we make it, using up all the old unsold bakery bread it's an eye opener
Bread Pudding Old School Bakery Recipe How to Made
Makes 12 bakery size slices
Ingredients
1500g water about
1000g about white 2 large loafs bread
1000g about mixed dried fruit
3 tbsp to taste mixed spice
150ml cream
280g to taste light brown sugar
4 tbsp demerara sugar topping
Method
Tear out the centre of the white bread into a large mixing bowl and add 1000g of water and mix round if it dry add more water up to 500g and leave for 2 -3 hours to soak
Mix in your mixed dried fruit to what you like and the same with the mixed spice and also your brown sugar, mix round and clear you must taste it just to check if you need more of the above
Pour in your cream, then stir or scrunch through your fingers to mix everything well and completely break up the bread.
Oven Temp to 180C/160C Butter and line the base of a 315mm x 215mm x 50mm cake tin (not one with a loose base).
Put the pudding mixture into the tin, then scatter with demerara.
Bake for 1½ hrs until firm and golden, covering with foil if it starts to brown too much. Turn out of the tin and strip off the paper. Cut into squares and serve warm or best cold
