Rear 6x9 Speaker Replacement -- 1994-1996 Chevy Caprice/Impala SS

The original (25+ years old) rear deck 6x9 speaker cones rotted out, so let's replace the factory speakers with something better. I should have done this sooner...

1994-1996 Chevy Caprice and Impala SS, although other GM years, makes and models are similar.

Included here are tips and tricks including making an adapter to preserve the factory wiring harness.
