Art at Home 020 - Mason Jar Succulent Garden

Описание к видео Art at Home 020 - Mason Jar Succulent Garden

Welcome to our twentieth project for Art At Home with the Fullerton Community Center!

What exactly is a succulent? Succulents are a group of plants that store water in their leaves. The leaves tend to be thick and fleshy, but some succulents have thicker leaves than others. Succulents tend to thrive in dry climates and don't like a lot of humidity. While they do need water to survive, they can endure extended periods of drought, relying on the stored water and nutrients in their leaves.

They need water, but not too much. If their roots sit in water for too long they will rot and die.
Because of their beauty, variety, and ease of care, succulents are showing up everywhere! Popular indoor plants, succulents work especially well in small containers like this mini mason jar garden.

Let’s get started!
