With the arrest of 3 accused persons (one hired shooter, one conspirator and his associate) namely Anas, age-23 years (Shooter), Aamir Ansari, age-42 years (conspirator) & Aakil @ Shahid Ansari, age-38 years and recovery of one sophisticated Semi Automatic Pistol with one live cartridge and vehicle used in the commission of crime team PS Dyalpur solved sensational firing case vide FIR No. 600/23 dated 27.08.2023 u/s 336/120-B/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Dayalpur.
*Brief fact of the incident*:-
On the night intervening 26-27.08.23, firing incident in Gali No. 5, New Mustafabad was reported at PS Dayalpur. On reaching the spot, police team found, one empty case of cartridge. The complainant namely Haroon Ansari S/o Mohd.Zarif Ansari reported that at about 11:30 PM, while he was inside house, he heard the sound of gunshot, on checking through CCTV, one person wearing helmet was seen with a pistol. He further reported that, in the afternoon he had a conflict with Haji Arshad, Mannan Jiyauddin, Sarfaraj & Sahmaad on repaying the loan amount he had borrowed from them. He suspected them, as reason/source of firing.
Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 600/23 was registered and investigation was taken up.
During course of investigation, a police team led by Inspector Atul Tyagi, SHO/Dayalpur comprising of SI Rocky Katingal, HC Rohit Palsaniya, Ct. Gyan Singh,Ct. Jeetendra Kohli & ASI Bijender (TST) under the supervision of Sh. Abhishek Gupta , ACP/Gokalpuri was assigned the task to crack the case and arrest the culprits at the earliest.
The dedicated police team diligently scanned and analyze CCTV footages of various cameras installed in the vicinity. On detailed scanning of CCTV footages, hours before the firing incident, Aamir Ansari, brother of the complainant’s father was seen accompanying the suspected persons near the place of incident.

On 08.09.23, Aamir Ansari was traced and examined, on which he initially tried to mislead the police team but later revealed a shocking truth that, his brother Zarif (father of the complainant in the case) works as a property dealer/builder in the area and running neck deep in debt. He had borrowed crores of rupees as loans from the local money lenders who were pressurizing him for repayments. Finding no solutions to repay his debt, he along with Aamir and his friend hatched up a conspiracy of firing at his own house and name the money lenders in the FIR.
Accordingly, he arranged shooter, who along with his associates fired on his house on 26.08.23. On the instance of Aamir, Anas S/o Abdul Shakur, age-23 years shooter and his associate Aakil @ Shahid Ansari,age -38 years were arrested. One sophisticated Semi Automatic Pistol used in the commission of crime with one live cartridge was recovered from the possession of Anas. On their instance, the scooty No. DL-13 SU-7346 used by the shooter and his associates in the firing was also recovered. On verification it surfaced that recovered scooty was registered in the name of Aamir.
Further efforts are on to trace and arrest the remaining accused persons in the case.

• Aakil @ Shahid Ansari S/o Late Chiddan Hussain R/o Chauhan Bangar Jafarbad, Delhi, age-38 years. (Friend of Aamir)
