Motocamping Trip GONE WRONG: Pre-Oregon BDR Shakedown Run, Part 1

Learning from the mistakes I made on my last BDR moto camping trip, I decided that before we head out to take on the brand new Oregon BDR, I needed to do a full shakedown run to test my BDR motocamping gear and my bike. I'm really glad I did, because this motorcycle camping trip was kind of disastrous. Roads blocked by snow, multiple re-routes, gear failures, my exhaust baffle taking a vacation (TWICE) and more. This was a great test of the motorcycle camping setup and the bike I plan on taking on the ORBDR next month and I'm glad I got all these kinks worked out ahead of time.
