Abandoned Staffy mum with 7 puppies rescued, eating Christmas Turkey lunch

Shadow and her 7 puppies have been transported to the farm today in an emergency situation through our relationship with Central Coast Animal Facility. The puppies are just ten days old.

Mum, Shadow was abandoned.

Puppies came as a surprise not long after being surrendered. There were 9 puppies, sadly two did not make it. But the shelter staff are thankful that they didn’t lose more due to the trauma she has endured.

She has been dumped several times, tied to pipes, starved, left in her own poo. There’s more to the story but it’s truly sad and the part we can all focus on and feel good about it, is that it is only upwards from here and Shadow and her puppies are now safe.

Not only are you safe Shadow, but you got Christmas Turkey lunch today. Now that’s just the start. You see, there’s these farm rules that say Mumma’s get spoiled at the farm. Whatever your heart desires. Lucy made the rules. Hers were roast chicken and peaceful solo swims. She didn’t ask for much I know. But it was heaven for her. Oh and your puppies get a great start to life and isn’t that what every Mumma wants for their babies.

Rest easy now Shadow, leave all your worries behind. I’m so sorry humans have hurt you in the past. They won’t hurt you anymore.
