The Left Hinge Line | Combination for Waltz or Foxtrot

Another classic Line Move, as part of our Line Moves Glossary! The Left Hinge Line is part of a family of Line Moves that includes figures such as the Throwaway Oversway, the Hover Corte, and the rare X-Line. Technically, the Hinge Line exists to the Left and to the Right, but the distinction between the Right Hinge Line and the Same Foot Lunge is murky. The Left Hinge Line, however, can best be described as a Left Whisk for the Lady and a Throwaway Oversway for the Man.
