Finally, Fat Kokanee! Spring fishing Kawkawa Lake BC. Pre Family event Fishing.

Hello and welcome to my channel,

On this episode, we visit Kawkawa Lake, BC, mid May 2024.
After a hand full of trips, finally, Kokanee! It's been about a month since I fished the lake and it has changed personalities. Less Cohos and more Kokanees! They are schooling in the lower column now, which makes them much easier to target. Fish sizes increased quite significantly aswell.

Stay tuned for the episode of the following day. We organized a free family friendly fishing event and a BC Children's Hospital Foundation Fundraiser. A true heart warming experience, bright smiles and active fishing.
