One On 1.1 is a series of dialogues between a solo instrument (or performer) and live electronics. Characterized by its wide range of compositional strategies that range from guided improvisations to fixed scores, One On 1.1 seeks to create hybrid soundscapes that blend acoustic and electronic elements. The live electronics in these performances function as a “parasite” of the live instrument, modifying and sampling sound in real-time, aiming to create an engaging musical experience. Inspired by the harmonic structure of the early folia, One On 1.1 for recorders and live electronics (dedicated to Inbar Solomon) investigates the sonic potentialities of the recorders in their combination with electronics
