Ambitious Failures The work was composed under the influence of a wonderful book by Yael Roy. The book describes how several teenage boys cope with a society that does not accept them and treats them as losers. Each of the boys has to face a problem of his own. Despite their differences, the boys find the strength to connect together and to support each other. In this piece, I tried to describe, by using different motifs and textures, the opposing characters, the relationship between them, and the final unity at the end. It is always exciting to reach this goal using the various possibilities of one solo instrument.
