Paper, Measurement and Ratio
12 or 30 units of Duo Colored Origami paper or Kami, that are pre-cut to the Ratio of 1:2. I will show you the 30 module version in this video. The measurements from the Torch Ginger Kusudama in this video are 7.5 cm x 15 cm/ 3 in x 6 in.

Folding & Curling the Tips
The folding part can be divided into 3 parts: the pre-creasing of the paper, the folding of the connection parts and the folding of the flower petals. I am sure you will remember the steps quite easily once you fold one or two modules. After you folded all your pieces, you should curl the tips to resemble real flower petals. I have used a blunt knife to do that. You could use your bone folder if you have one. Also try to do the curling before the assembly, as it will make things easier for you.

Assembly
The assembly is a bit tricky and you might want to use glue if you are getting frustrated. I have used glue with this model, so don't feel ashamed if you will need too!

Conclusion
I hope you love this flowery Torch Ginger Kusudama as much as I do. It is not a beginner model, as there are quite a few steps involved that might be to difficult for a beginner. Nevertheless, I hope you will have fun creating this lovely Torch Ginger, if you do. Happy Folding! I would love to hear from you, if you have comments or questions!
