Mahim a suburb of Mumbai city might be the first names that comes to mind when talking 'Kabab Pav', but there is a whole informal network of roadside vendors popping up each night with just table and kebabs in the southern side of Mumbai popularly known as Sobo or South Mumbai , which has a meaty chunk of food history that has a shadowy presence. Kababs shallow fried on a tava and stuffed in pav (bread) with spicy chatney spread and onions, mint laid over to add a zing to the taste.

Ingredients
For mutton marination
500 gms minced mutton
1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds
salt to taste
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1tbsp gram flour
1-2 chopped green chllies
few coriander leaves
finely chopped onions
few mints leaves
1 egg
1 soaked bread
Oil for frying
Bread/pav
butter
