In the last two videos you saw how we can apply the "just in case" concept to the split step and early preparation and today we'll look at how we can use it when moving to the ball.

I've shared a more extensive video on this topic not long ago explaining how we need to "beat the ball" to the meeting point so today's video is a little refresh of that topic and looking at it from a different perspective.

The reason why we have to "learn" how to move towards the ball and the meeting point is because our intuitive way of moving towards the ball doesn't work in tennis.

The intuitive way of moving is to wait until we can definitely read the speed and direction of the ball and then move how it's necessary but in the game of tennis you'll be usually too late on fast and difficult balls.

Therefore we need to move "just in case" very quick from the start preparing for the worst case scenario.
