Choosing plants for our urban garden

We plow on in our little garden, pushing to get ready for the hottest weeks when we hope to take more of a break. In this episode we share our trip shopping for urns and the plants for those as well as the smaller flower bed.

The weeding and planting looks like a breeze here in the partly sped up video, but we can tell you it was insanely hot!!

The plants we used were the following:

IN THE FLOWER BED
Cycas Revoluta (or Sago Palm)
Various succulents including Aloe Vera

HEDGE


GRAPEVINE
Uva Italia

HERBS
Basil
Oregano
Thyme
Mint

We are gearing up for our setup for the garden, and one of the things we have planned for is a strong fixed wall mounted fan with some water spray outlets. It will bring down the temperature hopefully giving us some additional hours of use!
