How to Make Bird Nesting Boxes| 18TH CENTURY PIONEER | BIRCH BARK CANOE | CANADIAN WILDERNESS

Описание к видео How to Make Bird Nesting Boxes| 18TH CENTURY PIONEER | BIRCH BARK CANOE | CANADIAN WILDERNESS

Peter discusses land stewardship and the importance of providing habitat for birds. He constructs bird nesting boxes from material left over from the build of his 18'th century homestead. The bird houses he constructs are a basic design and are easy to maintain. He also finishes splitting the cedar logs for his birch bark canoe build. They will become the ribs and sheeting.

He had discovered an open dug well, lined with dry laid stone, build by the pioneers. He returns to the site to cover the opening to prevent animals and people from falling into it.
