Lake District Walks | Bow Fell via Climber's Traverse & Esk Pike

Todays adventure is a 9 mile circular walk starting in the Great Langdale's at the Old Dungeon Ghyll and heading up The Band towards Bowfell. Taking the Climber's Traverse off The Band to summit on Bow Fell before heading over Esk Pike and onto Angle Tarn. This is a great walk with a small amount of scrambling but be warned Bowfell is a rocky summit so care is needed.

As the conditions on the tops were poor there was no way I could get the Mavic DJI Spark Drone out but managed a small flight when down at low level along the Cumbria Way.

Given the recent weather I consider myself very luck as I had a great day out in reasonable weather conditions.
