Does GPA Really Matter? Let’s Talk About It!

As a first-gen Latina navigating business school, I’ve heard it all: “GPA is everything” or “Your grades don’t matter—it’s all about networking.” So, which one is true?

Here’s my take:
💡 GPA can open doors—especially for internships and scholarships. But…
💡 It’s not the whole story. Building skills, networking, and learning how to sell yourself matter just as much (if not more)!

For me, the key is balance: focusing on academics without losing sight of the bigger picture.
