IndieVelo -DIRTy Sprockets Smash Race, (31.0 KM), Time 2

Good fun racing with three teammates. With the matchmaking Fred and Tim were in pen 2. Even and I were in pen 1. We were all on race radio so we could still chat though in different races which added to the fun. (not recorded here).

It is fun racing with team tactics. Even is our sprinter so my job was to help him in the two intermediate sprint points and the final.

4:45 - The race begins with a 2800 meter neutral zone
9:20 - The end of the neutral zone and the first breakaway attempt
12:30 - Even and Rob are in the lead group of six as we approach the north lake hills
20:00 - We work with the bots in the lead bunch with 3 km to go to the first sprint banner
26:20 - The first spring shattered the lead pack. Even and Rob are with 2 bots at the next hills.
33:00 - Back on the flat coastal road with a 20 second gap we work to keep our lead
40:00 - Holding our small lead into the north hills and the second sprint banner
42:15 - 500 meters to the second sprint banner
44:00 - Even and Rob chase the two bots ahead with 2.3 km left and the finish
