Johnny Thompson, Equerry to the King

Formerly Major Johnny Thompson, now Liuetenant Colonel, the King's Equerry is a soldier from the 5th Scots Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Scotland, hence his ceremonial kilt wearing whilst on Royal duty. But have you ever heard him speak before? People assume he is Scottish, and he may indeed come from a Scottish family, but he was born in Northumberland, England, and speaks with a posh English accent.
