Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 42 - Kefka's Tower

This is it folks! In the words of Edgar, "It's time to take the fight to Kefka's doorstep!" All my characters are at least level 50, so unfortunately these final chapters will not pose much of a challenge. And I apologize, because a lot of the final battles are going to include a lot of Ultima casting, but we're going to beat that madman Kefka and save the day!

In order to get through Kefka's Tower, we need to split up into three parties. My three MVPs are Terra, Celes and Sabin, so I've made each the captain of their own parties. Party A, the first party you control after landing, has the easiest time. As they will only need come across one boss battle before reaching Kefka, which is one of the Warring Triad. Also, Mog is included in my Party A, so with Molulu's charm, it's smooth sailing all the way till the end.

Party B and Party C have a steeper climb. They will each face numerous boss battles included: Ultima Buster, the two remaining legendary dragons, Inferno and the infamous Guardian. You have a choice as to who can fight the Guardian and I choose Party C, led by Sabin. The Warring Traid won't provide much a challenge for me unfortunately, however you'll want to make sure that if you bring Umaro along, do not place him in Party A. As the Triad member he'll face is an Ice elemental and his 'Snowstorm' move will heal it.

I didn't realize there would be a save point right after Party C defeats the last of the Warring Triad, so I walked back to the save point created after you beat the Guardian. It kind of ruins the flow of the video for the final battle but oh well! This wasn't a perfect walkthrough. I made a couple of missteps: I didn't complete the scenario of the wounded soldier from Mobliz (which gets you a Tintinabulum), I slept on picking up some Espers earlier on (the ones from the Jidoor auction house and the one on Solitary Island). I didn't really bother stocking up on equipment for the final battle (some of my crew still has Mithril gear lol). But this was still an endeavor that involved over 20 hours or gameplay and I'm proud to have finished it. Now let's beat Kefka and finish this!
