📚 Description: TV Yellow is one of those iconic 50s Gibson finishes found on some Juniors and Specials - no one really knows why they call it TV Yellow - but there are some good convincing theories! What makes a TV finish a TV finish? For me, it is being able to see through to a Mahogany wood grain from the front, back and sides of the guitar. What makes that different from a regular translucent finish? I don't really know... history, man... history.

Recently Gibson has been toying with other TV finishes other than TV Yellow - such as TV Black, TV Black Over Gold, TV White and more! These certainly have a rustic vibe to them when done up properly!

Today we are taking a look at a peculiar TV Gold Les Paul Custom from 2015 with a Rosewood fretboard!
