Flashback (Genesis) Secret Ending

Hey look! It's the secret ending to Flashback! (... or is it. No it's not.)

Previously, on Flashback: Conrad B. Hart has been teleported across the galaxy to an alien planet. His mission: infiltrate to the core of the planet; destroy the Master Brain that controls his sworn enemies, the Morphs; and use the ATOMIC CHARGE given to him at a specific point to defeat the Morph menace once and for all!

When the bomb has been planted, Conrad has only a few minutes to race to the hangar, commandeer an alien ship, and escape to freedom.

Or, you know, he could completely ignore the final boss, forget about the ATOMIC CHARGE, and use a walk-through-walls glitch to get to the escape ship before he's planted the bomb that will save the day.

What could paushibly go wroang?

(Walk through walls glitch only works on Amiga / Megadrive and you can verify it for yourself. Do it exactly as I did: walk as close to the wall as you can, turn around, begin to run and IMMEDIATELY let go of the run button and pull the other direction, when Conrad slides, HOLD the run button to re-engage into a run and he'll be too close to the wall and bump into it!)
