Comrades 2024 Up Run - The UPBUNTU Spirit

This year I ran my third Comrades and first up run.

The goal was to finish and enjoy the day with the Comrades community.
I smashed that goal. (As this could be my last one)

After my first two Comrades marathons, I realized that the race is special to me for its Ubuntu spirit, energy, and big vibe. This makes the Comrades stand out from any other event in South Africa. I ran the race with my GoPro and tried to capture as much as possible of the energy on the route, something that didn't stop for a full 87.2 km.

It's an amazing experience where South Africans of all walks of life come together, have fun, love, and support each other to achieve. The Comrades marathon unites South Africans. The media sometimes drives a different narrative from reality.
In reality, most South Africans have loving and great relations with each other daily. All walks of life.

I think the Comrades should be run once a month and by all our politicians. I also think it should be in our constitution that you can only run for a political party once you run a Comrades marathon. lol

I had a fantastic day!
