Oil Painting Demo - City Streets Nocturne

This is the video to watch to learn some techniques for painting urban scenes. I finally found my method for painting night scenes. In this piece I used the following palette: Titanium White, Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Yellow Pale, and Perm. Alizarin Crimson. For my medium I used cold wax medium. It makes the paint dry to a matte finish...which I love.
This way of working eliminates the glare you usually get from using linseed oil or similar medium.
