Horse, Coach, and Police Cart, but What Are They Filming, Oxford, August 20th-21st, 2024

On Tuesday, I bump into film crews and equipment in Catte Street and the Schools Quadrangle. On Wednesday, the same but more so, in and around Merton Street. This time, I see actual filming, with actors on horseback and in coaches and carts. Amongst them are a police cart and a delivery cart painted with the names of Hunter and Brown, Oxford. Part of the way through, I walk along Grove Walk and Deadman's Walk, in order to escape crowd control, and get via Rose Lane and The High to the other end of Merton Street. It's the first time I ever see horses in the Examination Schools.
